Super Stress Busters

Life is a lot of juggling with kids (though its a blessing) but it can be a lot of fun too. Just need to make simple changes in our lifestyle and it may turn slightly smooth and a lot more happening.

Imagine a situation. Juggling with a deadline at office.... but its the sports day at school also at the same time husband not well and to top it all maid gone to her native place....

Not an ideal situation, but we all go through some taxing situation one or the other way.

So there are some tips which may help us cope up with the day to day stress.

  • Sleep

A sleep of atleat 8 hours a day is a must for every one of us. So please get that adequate amount of sleep and wake up in the pink of your mood.

  • Declutter
Decluttering is therapeutic for a lot of us...If nothing else it helps us stay away from the chaos . Also a clean and beautiful space is definitely soothening. So next time when in stress just declutter any thing starting with your wardrobe, your room, your study table, kitchen or anything

  • Talk to your friends about everything but parenting.
When was the last time you spoke to somebody about your dreams and passion sans the marriage and kids.....?

  • Meditate

Meditation is calming your senses. It has been proved again and again that meditation do help in self monitoring and cognitive control. So just 5 minutes of meditation a day or atleast 3 rounds of "OM" will do wonders.

  • Plan and Schedule
Planning always take us a long way. So first thing in he morning should be the way you wan to take your day ahead. Trust me even if we achieve 50-70% of the planned activity there would be great level of satisfaction.

  • Makeover
Go for a makeover. It will surely take you away from the guilt feeling of neglecting yourself. There is absolutely no need of big money. Simple steps like changing hairstyle, a nice facial, nail art, a better wardrobe (please please stop wearing your maternity wears after a certain time). You need to feel normal to act normal.

  • Start Multivitamins
At the cost of repeating, after a proper consultation with your doctor please start some multivitamins. Am sure within the first month of having them you feel feel much better and find yourself handling stress more positively......

  • Start an excercise regime
The one who comes with an excuse of time is just fooling herself. So please take atleast 30 minutes out of the highly busy schedule and dedicate it to your self. Am sure you feel bless me for this after some days.

  • Do some community service
I am sure we all are busy or should I say very very busy but even an hour a week will make a difference to the society. So make your pick. Nowadays we see a lot of ad about TEACH FOR INDIA . So if possible please go and register yourself for it.

  • Eat Healthy Food
Antioxidants help fight stress better by preventing free radical damage. So please do away with the junk and consume more of healthy food and include fresh fruits and vegetables and fruits in your diet.
